This page will walk you through the process of checking your SD card for errors using F3.
|

#### What ye need
|
||
|
|
||
|
* Th' latest version 'o [F3](https://github.com/AltraMayor/f3/archive/v6.0.zip)
|
||
|
|
||
|
#### Instructions
|
||
|
|
||
|
1. Unzip th' f3 `.zip` file
|
||
|
1. `cd` into th' f3 directory
|
||
|
1. Run `make` to compile F3
|
||
|
1. Insert ye SD card into ye computer
|
||
|
1. Mount ye SD card
|
||
|
1. Run `./f3write <your sd card mount point>`
|
||
|
1. Wait until the process is complete. See below fer an example output.
|
||
|
|
||
|
$ ./f3write /media/michel/6135-3363/
|
||
|

|
||
|

If the test shows the result `Data LOST: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)` your SD card is good and you can delete all `.h2w` files on your SD card
