<h3 id="notes-de-compatibilité">Notes de compatibilité</h3>
<p>safecerthax is compatible with all Old 3DS and Old 2DS devices in all regions on system versions 1.0.0 through 11.14.0.</p>
<p class="notice--info">This exploit will not work on the New 3DS, New 3DS XL, or New 2DS XL. Please ensure that the device you are modding is an Old 3DS, Old 3DS XL, or Old 2DS before continuing.</p>

<h3 id="instructions">Instructions</h3>
<h4 id="section-i---hardware-button-check">Section I - Hardware Button Check</h4>
<ol>
<li>Lorsque votre console encore éteinte, maintenez enfoncés les boutons suivants : (L) + (R) + (Haut sur la croix directionnelle) + (A), et tout en maintenant ces boutons enfoncés, allumez votre console
<ul>
<li>Keep holding the buttons until the device boots to a system update screen (this is Safe Mode)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>If you see the system update screen, press Cancel
<ul>
<li>Votre console va s’éteindre</li>
<li>Si la console démarre à partir du menu HOME, éteignez simplement votre console</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ol>
<p class="notice--warning">If you do not boot into Safe Mode, the system update menu after multiple attempts, you cannot follow this method. If this is the case, use <a href="seedminer">Seedminer</a> instead.</p>
<h4 id="section-ii---préparatifs">Section II - Préparatifs</h4>
<p>In this section, you will copy the files needed to trigger the safecerthax exploit.</p>
<ol>
<li>Insérez votre carte SD dans votre ordinateur</li>
<li>Copiez <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">boot.firm</code> et <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">boot.3dsx</code> depuis Luma3DS <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">.zip</code>vers la racine de votre carte SD
<ul>
<li>La racine de la carte SD représente le répertoire initial de la carte SD où vous pouvez voir le dossier Nintendo 3DS, mais ce n’est pas à l’intérieur de ce dernier</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Créez un dossier à la racine de votre carte SD nommé <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">boot9strap</code></li>
<li>Copiez <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">boot9strap.firm</code> et <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">boot9strap.firm.sha</code> depuis le fichier “.zip” de boot9strap vers le dossier <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">/boot9strap/</code> sur votre carte SD</li>
<li>Copiez <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">SafeB9SInstaller.bin</code> depuis le fichier <code class="language-plaintext highlighter-rouge">.zip</code> de SafeB9SInstaller à la racine de votre carte SD</li>
<li>Retirez la carte SD de votre ordinateur et réinsérez-là dans votre 3DS</li>
<li>Allumez votre console</li>
</ol>
<h4 id="section-iii---safecerthax-proxy">Section III - safecerthax proxy</h4>
<p>In this section, you will change your Internet connection settings to use a proxy network designed to exploit the System Update feature of your device.</p>
<p class="notice--info">If you haven’t already, make sure you have a working Internet connection set up on your console.</p>
<ol>
<li>Launch the System Settings application</li>

<p>In this section, you will enter Safe Mode (a feature available on all 3DS family devices) where safecerthax will be triggered, which will launch you into the boot9strap (custom firmware) installer.</p>
