Homebrew Launcher 可以透過不同的進入點或方式開啟。

Soundhax 相容於 9.0.0 至 11.3.0 的歐、日、韓及美區的系統版本。

請確保你裝置的無線網路已經開啟，因為 udsploit（在下一頁中使用）將需要它才能使用，某些裝置（New 3DS 及 2DS）無法從 Homebrew Launcher 調整無線通信設置。 只需要將無線網路啟動即可；不須連接至任何網路或熱點。

請注意，卡帶更新僅會更新系統的核心組件，像是系統設定、HOME 主選單等。 卡帶更新不會更新音樂播放器或是線上下載的功能，如系統轉移、網頁瀏覽器、StressPass Mii 廣場、或是 eShop。

#### 操作說明

1. 關閉你的裝置
1. 將 SD 卡插入電腦中
1. 解壓`starter.zip`中`starter`資料夾中的 _所有內容_ 至 SD 卡的根目錄底下
1. 複製 Soundhax `.m4a` 至 SD 卡的根目錄底下
1. 複製 otherapp 啟動程式到 SD 卡的根目錄底下，並重新命名其檔名為 `otherapp.bin`

1. 啟動音樂播放程式（Nintendo 3DS Sound）

1. If you've never opened Nintendo 3DS Sound before and get tips on how to use it from a bird icon, go through all of the bird tips, then close the app normally and relaunch it
  + In this situation, launching Soundhax immediately would cause these tips to appear on every launch of the Nintendo 3DS Sound until this is done
1. 選擇「/SDCARD」，並播放「<3 nedwill 2016」
  + 可能需要嘗試多次
  + 如果當機的話，按住電源紐強制重啟你的裝置在試一次即可
  + If you get a red screen, ensure you copied _the contents of_ the `starter` folder to the root of your SD card
