GameCube Backup Manager is a convenient PC software that simplifies the process of transferring GameCube games to your USB drive or SD Card. It functions similar to the popular tool called [Wii Backup Manager](wiibackupmanager), allowing you to easily manage and organize your GameCube game backups. With this program, you can effortlessly copy your favorite GameCube games onto portable storage devices, making them readily accessible for future gaming sessions.
#### What you need
- An SD card or USB drive
- [GameCube Backup Manager](https://github.com/AxionDrak/GameCube-Backup-Manager/releases)
To play multiple games, it is recommended to use an external hard drive for your Wii. Any external hard drive found on most modern marketplaces should work with your Wii.
{: .notice--info}
Make sure your USB drive is formatted as FAT32. Do not format it as other types such as NTFS, exFAT, extFS, or WBFS, the latter being an outdated filesystem for storing Wii games.
{: .notice--info}
#### Instructions
##### Section I - Downloading
1. Extract GameCube Backup Manager, and launch the program.
2. Insert your USB drive into your computer.
##### Section II - Copying Games Over
1. Open the application and locate the folder button in the bottom right corner. Click on it to open the file explorer window.
2. Navigate to the location of the game file you want to transfer. This could be on your computer's hard drive or an external storage device. Once you find the file, select it by clicking on it.
3. Click on the `Files (Destination)` tab, then select the `Inactive` option from the dropdown menu. This will allow you to choose the drive where you want to transfer the game. Select the appropriate drive letter from the list.
4. Next, go back to the `Files (Source)` tab, select the game you want to transfer, and then click either `Install Game (1:1)` or `Install Game (Scrub)`.
Selecting `Install Game (Scrub)` will remove unneccessary data from the game, reducing the game's file size.

This is a quick start guide on how to use Nintendont, a popular USB loader for the Wii that's used to play games from a USB drive.
#### What you need
- A Wii
- An SD card or USB drive
- [Nintendont](https://hbb1.oscwii.org/hbb/Nintendont/Nintendont.zip)
We recommend you copy games over with [GameCube Backup Manager](https://github.com/AxionDrak/GameCube-Backup-Manager/releases) if you use Windows.
To play games, we recommend using an external hard drive for your Wii. Flash drives should be usable too, but external hard drives are recommended as they are more reliable, and can store more games.
{: .notice--info}
Make sure your USB drive is formatted as FAT32 or NTFS. Do not format it as other types such as exFAT, extFS, or WBFS, the latter is an old format of storing Wii games.
{: .notice--info}
#### Instructions
##### Downloading
1. Download Nintendont and extract it to the root of your SD card or USB drive.
2. Insert your SD card or USB drive into your Wii, and launch Nintendont from the Homebrew Channel.
##### Getting Started
There is no "guide" to use Nintendont. This is intended to help you learn how to use it, by giving you a quick start. You should be able to figure out all the great features of Nintendont by using it.
{: .notice--info}
###### Key Features
1. You can use a GameCube controller to play your games.
2. You can use a Wiimote to play your games, but you will need to use a Classic Controller Pro or a Wii U Pro Controller to use all of the game's features.
3. You can use a USB keyboard to enter text in games that require it.
4. You can use a USB drive to store your GameCube game ISOs.
5. You can use a fan-made patch to enable online play in some games.
