This github repository is not an official Yuzu distribution outlet. We merely redistribute Early Access builds as Yuzu is a GPL-3 licensed emulator.

If you have any problem, including controllers not being detected, performance regressions or whatever, do not create a issue ticket here. The ticket will be closed.

Instead, the correct course of action is to report it to the developers of yuzu. Ideally reproduce the issue on a mainline build first, they don't like people reporting issues on Early Access when they're not patrons (we have no control over that, that's a Yuzu team thing). If you've figured out how to set up this Early Access version of Yuzu, you can do the same with the Mainline version too - it's not hard.

(Just thought I'd help out and make a little issue ticket reminder. If a repo maintainer would like to pin this, I feel it'll save us from being a cracked record.)

Will this repository be taken down as well? it's an unofficial mirror and not associated with the original LLC that was involved in the settlement

On this side of things this repository will remain up unless the owner decides to pull the pin. Grab the latest release while you can and HODL with it. You may not be able to play the latest and greatest, or have fixes to issues like graphical glitches and other things, but you still have a copy of the citrus fruit emulator. Otherwise, there's always the other Switch emulator, Ryujinx.

I am not a lawyer but give it time and I think we will see successor to this emulator. The emulators core is open source and the (original) git repositories weren't struck down by DMCA, so I'm sure some talented developers will pick up the slack and make Yuzu-EX or something of the sort.

I'll withhold my personal views on the Yuzu vs Nintendo case, I do not agree with Nintendo's stance nor how the yuzu devs handled it, but it's a blow to preservation and having the ability to play Switch games on PC that you've purchased and dumped yourself.

EDIT: I should mention that I forsee malicious versions of Yuzu may arise claiming the emulator is back, like websites that offer the emulator but you have to go through advertising maze or install it using a dodgy installer that does more than just install Yuzu.
