ccc7c1b424 Make i18n string extraction faster and more flexible
Summary:
Ref T5267. Two general changes:

  - Make string extraction use a cache, so that it doesn't take several minutes every time you change something. Minor updates now only take a few seconds (like `arc liberate` and similar).
  - Instead of dumping a sort-of-template file out, write out to a cache (`src/.cache/i18n_strings.json`). I'm planning to add more steps to read this cache and do interesting things with it (emit translatewiki strings, generate or update standalone translation files, etc).

Test Plan:
  - Ran `bin/i18n extract`.
  - Ran it again, saw it go a lot faster.
  - Changed stuff, ran it, saw it only look at new stuff.
  - Examined caches.

adf209e655 When registering a device, write a device ID
Summary:
Ref T5833. In some cases, we need to know if an Almanac device is the localhost or not, so we can either handle or forward the request.

To accomplish this, write a device ID when running `bin/almanac register`.

Using `--allow-key-reuse` and `--identify-as`, multiple devices are permitted to //authenticate// as one device but //identify// as different devices. In the Phacility cluster, this allows all the `repoXXX` machines to have one keypair (making key management much easier) but still work as separate devices. This is an advanced feature; normal installs with 1-3 hosts would just generate a key + device per host and identify/authenticate as the same device.

Test Plan: Ran commands with lots of flags like `PHACILITY_INSTANCE=local sudo -E ./bin/almanac register --device daemon.phacility.net --private-key ~/dev/core/conf/keys/daemon.key --force --allow-key-reuse --identify-as local001.phacility.net`. Got a good result from `AlmanacKeys::getDeviceID()` afterward.

9e0f70e17d Rewrite Aphlict to use Websockets
Summary:
Fixes T6559. No more flash, use Websockets. This is less aggressive than the earlier version, and retains more server logic.

  - Support "wss".
  - Make the client work.
  - Remove "notification.user" entirely.
  - Seems ok?

Test Plan:
In Safari, Firefox and Chrome, saw the browsers connect. Made a bunch of comments/updates and saw notifications.

Notable holes in the test plan:

  - Haven't tested "wss" yet. I'll do this on secure.
  - Notifications are //too fast// now, locally. I get them after I hit submit but before the page reloads.
  - There are probably some other rough edges, this is a fairly big patch.

c84b9d408c Add bin/almanac register to associate a host with an Almanac device and trust it
Summary:
Ref T2783. This is basically a more refined version of D10400, which churned a bit on things like SSH key storage, the actual way the signing protocol shook out, etc.

  - When Phabricator tries to make an intra-cluster service call as the omnipotent user, sign it with the host's device key.
  - Add `bin/almanac register` to say "this host is X device, identified by private key Y". This stores the keypair locally, adds the public key to Almanac, and trusts it.

Net effect is that once a host has been registered, the daemons can make calls to other nodes as the omnipotent user. This is primarily necessary so they can access repository API methods on remote hosts.

Test Plan:
  - Ran `bin/almanac register` with various valid and invalid inputs.
  - Verified keys get generated/added/stored properly.
  - Made a device-signed cluster Conduit call.
  - Made a normal old user-signed cluster Conduit call.

8fbebce501 Implement storage of a host ID and a public key for authorizing Conduit between servers
Summary:
Ref T4209. This creates storage for public keys against authorized hosts, such that servers can be authorized to make Conduit calls as the omnipotent user.

Servers are registered into this system by running the following command once:

```
bin/almanac register
```

NOTE: This doesn't implement authorization between servers, just the storage of public keys.

Placing this against Almanac seemed like the most sensible place, since I'm imagining in future that the `register` command will accept more information (like the hostname of the server so it can be found in the service directory).

Test Plan: Ran `bin/almanac register` and saw the host (and public key information) appear in the database.

4d0935ba5e Rate limit requests by IP
Summary:
Fixes T3923. On `secure.phabricator.com`, we occasionally get slowed to a crawl when someone runs a security scanner against us, or 5 search bots decide to simultaneously index every line of every file in Diffusion.

Every time a user makes a request, give their IP address some points. If they get too many points in 5 minutes, start blocking their requests automatically for a while.

We give fewer points for logged in requests. We could futher refine this (more points for a 404, more points for a really slow page, etc.) but let's start simply.

Also, provide a mechanism for configuring this, and configuring the LB environment stuff at the same time (this comes up rarely, but we don't have a good answer right now).

Test Plan: Used `ab` and reloading over and over again to hit rate limits. Read documentation.

2c35532256 Drive all Celerity operations from the new map
Summary:
Ref T4222.

  - Removes the old map and changes the CelerityResourceMap API to be entirely driven by the new map.
  - The new map is about 50% smaller and organized more sensibly.
  - This removes the `/pkg/` URI component. All resources are now required to have unique names, so we can tell if a resource is a package or not by looking at the name.
  - Removes some junky old APIs.
  - Cleans up some other APIs.
  - Added some feedback for `bin/celerity map`.
  - `CelerityResourceMap` is still a singleton which is inextricably bound to the Phabricator map; this will change in the future.

Test Plan:
  - Reloaded pages.
  - Verified packaging works by looking at generated includes.
  - Forced minification on and verified it worked.
  - Forced no-timestamps on and verified it worked.
  - Rebuilt map.
  - Ran old script and verified error message.
  - Checked logs.

14569ae491 Add a user-accessible hook for dumping debug code into an install
Summary:
Currently, there's no easy way for me to tell a user "run this code from the webserver and tell me what it says". Sometimes installs can add new .php files to, e.g., `webroot/rsrc/`, but this is setup-dependent and not universal. Generally I resort to saying "put this into index.php", but that's error prone and not acceptable on active installs.

Add a "debug" controller so I can instead say "put this into support/debug.php, then visit /debug/".

Test Plan: Visited /debug/ with and without support/debug.php files. Visited /staus/.

7e17acfb68 Remove PhabricatorSetup and make PHABRICATOR_ENV optional
Summary:
  - PHABRICATOR_ENV is now optional. If you don't specify it, we won't load a config file.
  - PhabricatorSetup is now gone.
    - I removed the alternate file domain check for now, see T2380.
  - `phabricator.setup` config is now gone.
  - Rewrote documentation:
    - No more mentions of `phabricator.setup`.
    - Normal install guide no longer mentions PHABRICATOR_ENV. This is now an advanced topic.
    - Clarified that you only need to set up one of apache, nginx or lighttpd.
    - Tweaked a few things I've seen users have difficulty with.

This should have no effect on any existing installs, but make the process much simpler for future installs.

Closes T2221.

ba489f9d85 Add a local configuration source and a non-environmental ENV config source
Summary:
See discussion in T2221. Before we can move configuration to the database, we have a bootstrapping problem: we need database credentials to live //somewhere// if we can't guess them (and we can only really guess localhost / root / no password).

Some options for this are:

  - Have them live in ENV variables.
    - These are often somewhat unfamiliar to users.
    - Scripts would become a huge pain -- you'd have to dump a bunch of stuff into ENV.
    - Some environments have limited ability to set ENV vars.
    - SSH is also a pain.
  - Have them live in a normal config file.
    - This probably isn't really too awful, but:
    - Since we deploy/upgrade with git, we can't currently let them edit a file which already exists, or their working copy will become dirty.
    - So they have to copy or create a file, then edit it.
    - The biggest issue I have with this is that it will be difficult to give specific, easily-followed directions from Setup. The instructions need to be like "Copy template.conf.php to real.conf.php, then edit these keys: x, y, z". This isn't as easy to follow as "run script Y".
  - Have them live in an abnormal config file with script access (this diff).
    - I think this is a little better than a normal config file, because we can tell users 'run phabricator/bin/config set mysql.user phabricator' and such, which is easier to follow than editing a config file.

I think this is only a marginal improvement over a normal config file and am open to arguments against this approach, but I think it will be a little easier for users to deal with than a normal config file. In most cases they should only need to store three values in this file -- db user/host/pass -- since once we have those we can bootstrap everything else. Normal config files also aren't going away for more advanced users, we're just offering a simple alternative for most users.

This also adds an ENVIRONMENT file as an alternative to PHABRICATOR_ENV. This is just a simple way to specify the environment if you don't have convenient access to env vars.

Test Plan: Ran `config set x y`, verified writes. Wrote to ENVIRONMENT, ran `PHABRICATOR_ENV= ./bin/repository`.

0cc3cb7559 Remove support for custom logos
Summary:
  - These don't fit anywhere in the new design.
  - Even if we figure out how to fit them in, 220px logos definitely won't fit on the 320px iPhone screen so anyone who has a custom logo will have to rework them anyway.

8883c9494f Allow specifying custom celerity resource map
Summary:
We have custom static resources.
We currently include them in Phabricator's celerity resource map which is causing some pain - we need to regenerate the file without our custom resources before pushing upstream, we need to discard our changes before pulling from upstream and we need to rebuild with our changes to run Phabricator.

This diff allows writing and reading the map in other location.
The plan is this - I will run `celerity_mapper.php` twice - once to build Phabricator-only resources (to push to upstream) and once to build Phabricator + ours resoruces to put in our directory.

Better solution would be to create a map just with our resources and read and combine it with Phabricator resources.
But it is complicated because we have dependencies on Phabricator resources.

Test Plan:
`celerity_mapper.php webroot`
`celerity_mapper.php webroot ../facebook/src/__celerity_resource_map__.php`
Delete Phabricator's celerity map, set 'celerity.resource-path' and successfully load Phabricator.

386dcfff7e Rough batch editor for Maniphest
Summary:
First stab at a batch editor for Maniphest. Basically, you can select a group of
tasks and then import them into the "batch" interface, where you can edit all of
them at once.

High level goal is to make it easier for users in PM/filer/support/QA roles to
deal with large numbers of tasks quickly.

This implementation has a few major limitations:

  - The only available actions are "add projects" and "remove projects".
  - There is no review / undo / log stuff.
  - All the changes are applied in-process, which may not scale terribly well.

However, the immediate need is just around projects and this seemed like a
reasonable place to draw the line for a minimal useful version of the tool.

Test Plan: Used batch editor to add and remove projects from groups of tasks.
