Ref T12566. Ref T12563. This fixes three bugs with Aphlict replay stuff:
First, Conphernece would try to repaint the UI even if no thread was open. Only repaint when a thread is open.
Second, although we deduplicate JX.Leader messages, we didn't deduplicate actual notification messages. If you browsed the leader window, then it re-elected itelf as a leader and replayed history, it could rebroadcast notifications and other windows could show doubles. Deduplicate notifications to prevent this.
Third, we always replayed the last 60 seconds of history. When you browsed the leader window, whichever window became the new leader (possibly the one you just browsed) could replay messages from before it had opened, leading to duplicate messages. Particularly, after receiving a message and then browsing you could see that message again. Instead, only replay history as far back as when the window first opened.
Test Plan:
- Clicked "Repaint" with a thread open, saw a repaint. Clicked "Repaint" with Conpherence open but no thread, no repaint and no 404 request to `/update/null/`.
- In browser A, opened three windows. In browser B, sent a notification. In browser A, browsed the leader window away twice in a row. Observed that the window which never became a leader doesn't duplicate notifications.

This fixes the actual issue in T12538, and I think this is probably the correct/best behavior for the global search.
It also makes all other typeaheads use this behavior. They currently have a "bug" where enabled user `abcd` makes it impossible to select disabled user `abc`. This manifests in some real cases, where enabled function `members(abc)` makes it impossible to disabled user `abc` in some function tokenizers.
If ths feels worse, we could go back to filtering in the simpler cases and introduce a rule like "show closed results if only closed results would be shown OR if query is an exact match for the disabled result", but that gets dicier because "exact match" is a fuzzy concept.

There are some situations where communication can be more clear if users can accept as only themselves, or for only some packages, etc. T12271 discusses some of these use cases in more depth.
Instead of making "Accept" a blanket action, default it to doing what it does now but let the user uncheck reviewers.
In cases where project/package reviewers aren't in use, this doesn't change anything.
For now, "reject" still acts the old way (reject everything). We could make that use checkboxes too, but I'm not sure there's as much of a use case for it, and I generally want users who are blocking stuff to have more direct accountability in a product sense.

(Or there's some edge case I'm not thinking of and we'll figure it out soon enough.)
Additionally, blacklist `/file/data/` from Quicksand naviagtion: Quicksand should never fetch these URIs.

- The fallback sort was not normalized properly, so "J" could sort after "j". Instead, normalize values for sorting.

Summary:
Two minor issues that I caught in the log while fixing Phame permissions:
- We had a JS bug which would cause us to immediately generate two comment previews at the exact same time -- one for loading the page, and one for "switching to desktop". Instead, only generate the "switch to desktop" preview if we really switched to desktop from a different device layout.
- These two requests could end up reading/writing the VersionedDraft table at exactly the same time fairly often (e.g., after a comment submission, the page would load, send two preview requests at exactly the same time, and they'd race fairly reliably for me locally). If we do race, recover from the race.
Test Plan:
Submitted some Phame comments.
- No more error log errors about VersionedDraft keys.
- Saw only one preview request when loading the page instead of two.
Here's the specific stack trace I caught:

| Have Set Any Preference | 3084 |
| Have Disabled Jump | 6

The "/" option came in the same change, but the preference came from T989. This keystroke conflicts with a default Firefox keystroke. Almost no one cares about this either, but I count 6 real users who have disabled the behavior. I suspect the number of real users who //use// it may be smaller.
In Safari and Firefox, the "tab" key does the same thing.
In Chrome, the "tab" key does the same thing if {nav Preferences > Web Content > "Pressing Tab highlights..."} is disabled.

Summary:
This fix further addresses T10229. The problem and solution are the same:
- If the DOM is mutated during a touch, it never registers as a 'click' so the tapped button does not activate.
- This was partially addressed in D15136, which covered taps on code lines in a Differential view.
- Tapping on some buttons, like "Reply" or "Hide Comment" still caused the problem by showing a tooltip.
- There are probably similar buttons elsewhere, other than in Differential, exhibiting the same 'needs multiple taps to work' behaviour.
- The testing in the iOS simulator performed for D15136 did not reveal that the problem with "Hide comment" and such remained because the small device size used for testing triggered the `!= 'desktop'` path for tooltips.
To fix it:
- Don't show tooltips for touch events. You can't 'hover' with a finger (with today's tech) so that UI paradigm doesn't apply.
- Show the tooltips for regular mouse events, even if they are on the same device. Some devices have both touch and a mouse.
- No longer try to rely on a distinction between 'desktop' and 'mobile' devices. Mobile devices like the iPad Pro are essentially desktop like, and as mentioned above, a single device could be both touch and mouse enabled. It's not about the nature of the device, it's about the nature of the interaction.
Test Plan:
- Tapped "Hide Comment", "Reply" on an iPad Pro running iOS 9.2 and got single touch responses with no tooltips.
- Tried the same on an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.
- Hovered over the same on a regular desktop in Safari and saw tooltips. Clicked and saw regular reactions.

Ref T4900. The root problem is that dragging stuff near the bottom of the board can cause jittery, jumpy behaviors.
Internal scrolling has changed the nature of this problem. Previously, the height of the board itself would jump around, but it's now fixed so the height of columns jumps around instead.
We could take the same approach and add a chunk to the bottom of each column when a drag starts, but this is really distracting visually since it's obvious to the user.
Instead, treat columns as infinitely tall (so dragging beneath them still counts as dragging to the bottom position).
Test Plan:
- View a board with a column taller than the screen (has a scrollbar).
- Drag a card to near the bottom position.
- Move the mouse down a little bit at a time, continuing toward the bottom of the page.
- Before patch: at some point, UI flips out and starts rapidly adding, scrolling, and removing the ghost.
- After patch: sensible behavior, ghost is in bottom position for all cursor locations.
Also works for dragging to the top.

Ref T5240. Currently, when dragging nodes, we leave them where they are in the document and apply "position: relative;" so we can move them around on screen.
- Pros: All the CSS still works.
- Cons: Can't drag them outside the nearest containing element with "overflow: hidden;", many subtle positioning bugs with scrollable containers.
Instead, this diff leaves the thing we're dragging exactly where it is, clones it, and drags the clone instead.
- Pros: You can drag it anywhere. Seems to fix all the scrolling container problems.
- Cons: CSS which depends on a container class no longer works.
The CSS thing is bad, but doesn't seem too unreasonable to fix. Basically, we just need to put some `phui-this-is-a-workboard-card` class on the cards, and use that to style them instead of `phui-workboard-view`, and then do something similar for draggable lists.
Although we no longer need to drag cards to tabs with the current design, I think there's a reasonable chance we'll revisit that later. The current design also calls for scrollable columns, but there would be no way to drag cards outside of their current column with the current approach.
NOTE: This does not attempt to fix the CSS, so dragging is pretty rough, since the "clone" loses a number of container classes and thus a number of rules. I'll clean up the CSS in the next change.

Ref T5240. Currently, we calculate drag positions assuming the "ghost" element is not present (it isn't, usually), then adjust them while dragging to account for the ghost.
However, this fails after scrolling: we dirty the cache, but the ghost //is// present. We continue adjusting for it, but essentially double-adjust. This leads to scroll positions being about 80-ish px off from where they should be.
Test Plan:
- Begin dragging a task in a long task list.
- While dragging, use mousewheel to scroll to the bottom of the list.
- Drag task downward through the list.

Summary:
Fixes T10229. Broadly:
- When the user hovers over a line number or inline comment, we update the yellow reticle to highlight the relevant lines. Specifically, this is in response to a `mouseover` event.
- On touch devices, touches fire `mouseover` and if you mutate the DOM inside the event, the device aborts the touch.
To remedy this:
- Distingiush between mouse-originated and touch-originated cursor events.
- We do this, roughly, by setting a flag when we see "touchstart", and clearing it when we see the second copy of any unique cursor event.
- This method is complex, but should be robust to any implementation differences between devices (for example, it will work no matter which order the events are fired in).
- This method should also produce the correct results on weird devices that have both mouse-devices and touch-devices available for cursor input.
- When we see a touch-originated `mouseover` or `mouseout`, don't mutate the DOM.
- Put an extra DOM mutation into the `click` event to improve highlighting behavior on touch devices.
Test Plan:
- In iOS Simulator (4s, iOS 9.2), clicked various inline actions ("Reply", "Hide", "Done", "Cancel", line numbers, etc). Got responses after a single touch.
- Verified hover + click behavior on a desktop.
- Logged and examined a bunch of events as a general sanity check.

Specifically, the problem is:
- we build the menu in order to populate the mobile/application menu;
- as a side effect of building the menu (not rendering the menu), we initialize the menu collapse/expand behavior;
- but we never actually render the menu, so the `JX.$()` call fails.
The right fix would be to initialize the behavior only when we render the menu, but then `AphorntSideNavFilterView` would need to know about profile menu behaviors. It probably should some day, but I think today is not that day.

Ref T10010. Ref T5819. General alignment of the stars:
- There were some hacks in Conduit around stripping `fa-...` off icons when reading and writing that I wanted to get rid of.
- We probably have room for a subtitle in the new heavy nav, and using the icon name is a good starting point (and maybe good enough on its own?)
- The project list was real bad looking with redundant tag/names, now it is very slightly less bad looking with non-redundant types?
- Some installs will want to call Milestones something else, and this gets us a big part of the way there.
- This may slightly help to reinforce "tag" vs "policy" vs "group" stuff?
---
I'm letting installs have enough rope to shoot themselves in the foot (e.g., define 100 icons). It isn't the end of the world if they reuse icons, and is clearly their fault.
I think the cases where 100 icons will break down are:
- Icon selector dialog may get very unwieldy.
- Query UI will be pretty iffy/huge with 100 icons.
We could improve these fairly easily if an install comes up with a reasonable use case for having 100 icons.
---
The UI on the icon itself in the list views is a little iffy -- mostly, it's too saturated/bold.
I'd ideally like to try either:
- rendering a "shade" version (i.e. lighter, less-saturated color); or
- rendering a "shade" tag with just the icon in it.
However, there didn't seem to be a way to do the first one right now (`fa-example sh-blue` doesn't work) and the second one had weird margins/padding, so I left it like this for now. I figure we can clean it up once we build the thick nav, since that will probably also want an identical element.
(I don't want to render a full tag with the icon + name since I think that's confusing -- it looks like a project/object tag, but is not.)

Ref T10004. After a user logs in, we send them to the "next" URI cookie if there is one, but currently don't always do a very good job of selecting a "next" URI, especially if they tried to do something with a dialog before being asked to log in.
In particular, if a logged-out user clicks an action like "Edit Blocking Tasks" on a Maniphest task, the default behavior is to send them to the standalone page for that dialog after they log in. This can be pretty confusing.
See T2691 and D6416 for earlier efforts here. At that time, we added a mechanism to //manually// override the default behavior, and fixed the most common links. This worked, but I'd like to fix the //default// beahvior so we don't need to remember to `setObjectURI()` correctly all over the place.
ApplicationEditor has also introduced new cases which are more difficult to get right. While we could get them right by using the override and being careful about things, this also motivates fixing the default behavior.
Finally, we have better tools for fixing the default behavior now than we did in 2013.
Instead of using manual overrides, have JS include an "X-Phabricator-Via" header in Ajax requests. This is basically like a referrer header, and will contain the page the user's browser is on.
In essentially every case, this should be a very good place (and often the best place) to send them after login. For all pages currently using `setObjectURI()`, it should produce the same behavior by default.
I'll remove the `setObjectURI()` mechanism in the next diff.
Test Plan: Clicked various workflow actions while logged out, saw "next" get set to a reasonable value, was redirected to a sensible, non-confusing page after login (the page with whatever button I clicked on it).

I think I've fixed it enough that the beahavior is now correct (i.e., icons show up properly), but some of the code is a bit iffy. I'll eventually clean this up properly, but it's fairly well contained for now.

Ref T9524. Because fetching the last time files were modified in Diffusion can be slow, we bring it in over Ajax.
The logic to fetch and paint the table is kind of fragile because there are two different definitions of the columns right now and we break in a bad way if they differ.
In particular, calling `diffusion.updatecoverage` can populate a "lint commit" for a repository, which tries to generate lint information in one of the views (but not the other one).
In the longer run I think we're removing some of the concepts here and this rendering should be rebuilt to not have two separate column definitions, but just make it degrade gracefully for now since those are larger changes.
Test Plan:
Reproduced the issue in T9524 by calling `diffusion.updatecoverage` on a repostiory. Specifically, this has a side effect of creating a "lint commit" which triggers a "lint" column in this table, sort of.

This requires making the widget handling code a bit more nuanced as nothing has wanted to pop a dialogue before. I plan to clean this up as I add the action to "Mark as Favorite" to the UI. In particular, I want to stop rendering the un-used DOM and make a workflow-based widget action a property as opposed to something hardcoded. Fixes T8194. If you loaded a conpherence directly via a URI like /Z1 or /conpherence/1/ we didn't correctly cache the loaded transactions such that sending a message would only show that message and subsequent messages.
Fix is to build the cache properly in this case. Note this codepath is different because the server sends back more of the thread data in the initial request.
Test Plan: loaded a conpherence directly, sent messages, paged back, everything kept showing!

Fixes T6713. Before this diff, we would update the DOM when various requests came back, but the logic to erase race conditions proved too tricky for me to get right. Instead, change the algorithm up and keep a set of transaction ids around per thread. When its time to update the transactions, sort the list of ids and just render the whole darn set again.
To make this work, this ends up adding transacton ids to fake transactons like "show older" and date markers. This is able to work by using a float sort and giving these transactions ids that are .5 from being an integer and in the right place numerically.
Test Plan: for durable column, clicked show older and it worked. sent a message and it worked. for main view, clicked show older and it worked. sent a message and it worked.

Summary:
Ref T8151. This is option (5). It needs a few adjustments but feels pretty good. Major issues are:
- Without a mouse, the scrollbars overlap by default, so we //must// move the column off the right margin.
- Scrolling sometimes "bleeds" between the chat vs the main frame in a way that's not as discrete as the old framed content, but feels generally reasonable to me.
If we pursue this, I'd plan to make these additional changes:
- Move the panel away from the right margin only if the page scrollbars are zero-width (i.e., in OSX trackpad mode).
- Fix the notch in the upper right corner when the chat is moved away from the right margin.
- Probably remove the body "overflow-y: scroll" on Conpherence and Workboards.
- Update the resizing code to deal with 300px vs 315px widths.
- We can probably clean up some JX.Scrollbar "main panel" code.
Here's the "bad" case, where I've visually separated the column to provide room for a scrollbar. This isn't ideal, but looks and feels OK to me:

This ends up being kind of tricky because
- the key for a given request is only correct at the time the dark console is rendered
- the dark console itself should contain every request made, as opposed to being drawn from scratch
- in the case of a quicksand request, the behavior gets invoked first with the correctly rendered console as part of the `quicksand-redraw` event and then again shortly after as an ajax request would, except this is incorrect relative to when the key should be calculated...
So...
- assume we can get away with concurrency between the `quicksand-redraw` event and ajax request invocation of the behavior
- cache the right data as part of the `quicksand-redraw` event and then use it in the subsequent ajax call
- make sure ajax config gets a 'quicksand' flag
...otherwise its somewhat standard make sure this behavior can be init'd a bunch stuff.

T7318 is a tricky beast since we don't know exactly how to reproduce it but if / when it occurs again it would be some other bizarre application behavior maybe? We won't be getting the execption anymore, that's for sure.
Test Plan: removed code in `ConpherenceThreadManager.sendMessage` that protects against sending empty messages. sent empty messages (non updates) like whoa and everything worked on both durable column and main column view. re-added the code in `ConpherenceThreadManager.sendMessage` and noted empty messages did not send while any text including a space sent up nicely

Summary: I considered at the time just making all tables taller. This removes the special casing and adds the space universally. On first glance all smaller tables look great, but Diffusion seems a little bloated. After a short time period though that went away for me. I do think Diffusion overall needs a UI refresh.

Ref T7566. Prior to this diff, we had a broken mess in the "Messages" section. Now, "Messages" behave like rooms in that whatever is loaded at page load time is at the top of the list.
Additionally, refine "show more" behavior such that it simply shows the next X, but if there exists X + 1 then we have another "show more" that kicks you to application search. Theoretically, there are still corner cases where users are in a ton of rooms or a ton of messages respectively, but this feels pretty good.
Consolidates title rendering code so we always render the list of participants and no more "No Title".
Also remove the policy icons for messages consistently, helping to differentiate them from rooms at a glance.
Test Plan: clicked around in conpherence main - looked good. tried "show more" and it worked! played around in durable column and things seemed reasonable there too.

Fixes T7062. When the column is open, we only want to consider the screen width which is avilable for content when computing responsive breakpoints.
Specificially, if you have a 1000px wide browser window (normally "desktop") but the column is open (300px) so you only have 700px free for content (normally "tablet"), we should drop to the tablet breakpoint. This lets you have a narrow column of "tablet" content next to the chat column, instead of a really squished column of "desktop" contnet.
This also means the chat column can't directly use JX.Device to hide itself.
Test Plan: Resized screen with column open, saw content go from Desktop + Column -> Tablet + Column -> Tablet -> Mobile.

Fixes T7629 plus an un filed bug that's breaking creating new threads since we need to add participants EVEN EARLIER than we were doing it now that policy is actually enforced.
Back to the main thrust of this, there is one UI corner case - in the main view if you go from 1:1 to 1:1:1 (i.e. add a 3rd recipient, or Nth in a row) the icon only updates on page reload. I figure this will get sorted out at a later refactor as we make the client better / share more code with durable column.
One other small behavioral oddity is in the main view sometime we start loading with no conpherence. in that case, rather than show some incorrect icon, we show no icon (and "no title") and then things change at load. Seems okay-ish.
Finally, @chad - the CSS is a very work-man-like "use the built in stuff you can specify from PHP" so I'm sure it needs some love.

Ref T5644. See some discussion in D8040.
When a file is very large (more than 64KB of text), don't activate syntax highlighting by default. This should prevent us from wasting resources running `pygmentize` on enormous files.
Users who want the file highlighted can still select "Highlight As...".
The tricky part of this diff is separating the headers into "changeset" headers and "undershield" (rendering) headers. Specifically, a file might have these headers/shields:
- "This file is newly added."
- "This file is generated. Show Changes"
- "Highlighting is disabled for this large file."
In this case, I want the user to see "added" and "generated" when they load the page, and only see "highlighting disabled" after they click "Show Changes". So there are several categories:
- "Changeset" headers, which discuss the changeset as a whole (binary file, image file, moved, added, deleted, etc.)
- "Property" headers, which describe metadata changes (not relevant here).
- "Shields", which hide files from view by default.
- "Undershield" headers, which provide rendering information that is only relevant if there is no shield on the file.
Test Plan:
- Viewed a diff with the library map, clicked "show changes", got a "highlighting disabled" header back with highlighting disabled.
- Enabled highlighting explicitly (this currently restores the shield, which it probably shouldn't, but that feels out of scope for this change). The deshielded file is highlighted per the user's request.
- Loaded context on normal files.

Ref T1460. This just barely works, but throwing it up in case any of it sounds mechanically crazy before we build integrations/UI/etc.
Specifically, these are the behaviors:
- You can mark your own draft comments as "done" before you submit them. The intent is to let reviewers mark their stuff advisory/minor/not-important before they submit it, to hint to authors that they don't expect the feedback to necessarily be addressed (maybe it's a joke, maybe it's just discussion, maybe it's "consider..").
- You can mark others' published comments as "done" if you're the revision/commit author. The intent is to keep this lightweight by not requiring an audit trail of who marked what done when. If anyone could mark anything done, we'd have to have some way to show who marked stuff.
- When you mark stuff done (or unmark it), it goes into a "draft" state, where you see the change but others don't see it yet. The intent is twofold:
- Be consistent with how inlines work.
- Allow us to publish a "epriestley updated this revision + epriestley marked 15 inlines as done" story later if we want. This seems more useful than publishing 15 "epriestley marked one thing as done" stories.
- The actual bit where done-ness publishes isn't implemented.
- UI is bare bones.
- No integration with the rest of the UI yet.

Test Plan:
