Summary:
Ref T5702. This is a forward-looking change which provides some very broad API improvements but does not implement them. In particular:
- Controllers no longer require `$request` to construct. This is mostly for T5702, directly, but simplifies things in general. Instead, we call `setRequest()` before using a controller. Only a small number of sites activate controllers, so this is less code overall, and more consistent with most constructors not having any parameters or effects.
- `$request` now offers `getURIData($key, ...)`. This is an alternate way of accessing `$data` which is currently only available on `willProcessRequest(array $data)`. Almost all controllers which implement this method do so in order to read one or two things out of the URI data. Instead, let them just read this data directly when processing the request.
- Introduce `handleRequest(AphrontRequest $request)` and deprecate (very softly) `processRequest()`. The majority of `processRequest()` calls begin `$request = $this->getRequest()`, which is avoided with the more practical signature.
- Provide `getViewer()` on `$request`, and a convenience `getViewer()` on `$controller`. This fixes `$viewer = $request->getUser();` into `$viewer = $request->getViewer();`, and converts the `$request + $viewer` two-liner into a single `$this->getViewer()`.

- UI hints for overfull columns might need adjustment.

Summary:
Ref T4807. This is an alternative to D10179. The problem these diffs solve is that I want to be able to reorder a column's positions without having to load the actual objects, but that's difficutl because two positions may have the same sequence number (and I think it's good that we allow that, since it makes a bunch of other stuff way easier).
Instead of using the object ID (e.g., the task ID) to reorder positions with the same sequence, use the position itself. This is a little easier, is less ambiguous if columns eventually have several types of objects, and produces a better behavior when old objects are freshly added to a board. For example, if you tag `T300` with `#project`, this new rule will push it to the top of "Backlog" while the old rule might have buried it deep. I think this behavior is desirable and more "natural".
When creating a group of new rows, we do order the batch by ID, so a group of freshly-tagged objects float to the top togehter in ID order. This seems like the most natural rule, too.
Test Plan:
- Loaded some boards with implicit objects on them (freshly tagged tasks) and saw rows create.
- Verified new rows created in the right order.

General areas for improvement:
- It would be nice to give you some feedback that you have a filter applied.
- It would be nice to let you save and quickly select common filters.
- These would probably both be covered by a dropdown menu instead of a button, but that's more JS than I want to sign up for right now.
- Managing custom filters is also a significant amount of extra UI to build.

Instead, bind PHID types to applications. This is a relatively tailored fix; some areas for potential future work:
- Go through every PHID type and bind them all to applications. Vaguely nice to have, but doesn't get us anything for now.
- If no searchable application is installed, we don't show you an error state. This isn't currently possible ("People" is always installed) but in the interest of generality we could throw an exception or something at least.
- The elasticserach thing could probably constrain types to visible types, but we don't have a viewer there easily right now.

This introduces a real transaction editor, `PhabricatorProjectTransactionEditor`, with the eventual goal of moving all of the old functionality into it and deleting the old class. Ref T4379. I want project subscriptions to work like this (yell if this seems whacky, since it makes subscriptions mean somethign a little different for projects than they do for other objects):
- You can only subscribe to a project if you're a project member.
- When you're added as a member, you're added as a subscriber.
- When you're removed as a member, you're removed as a subscriber.
- While you're a member, you can optionally unsubscribe.
From a UI perspective:
- We don't show the subscriber list, since it's going to be some uninteresting subset of the member list.
- We don't show CC transactions in history, since they're an uninteresting near-approximation of the membership transactions.
- You only see the subscription controls if you're a member.
To do this, I've augmented `PhabricatorSubscribableInterface` with two new methods. It would be nice if we were on PHP 5.4+ and could just use traits for this, but we should get data about version usage before we think about this. For now, copy/paste the default implementations into every implementing class.
Then, I implemented the interface in `PhabricatorProject` but with alternate defaults.

- Used the normal interaction on existing objects.

Differential Revision: https://secure.phabricator.com/D7942
Summary:
Ref T1344. Allows you to drag tasks within a column and between columns, and handles all the multi-column state / targeting / ghosting stuff.
This is a UI-only change; you can't actually do anything meaningful with these yet.
Roughly, I added the idea of a DraggableList existing within a "group" of draggable lists. Normally, that group only has one item, but on boards it has all of the columns. Then I made all of the relevant operations just apply to the whole group of lists.
Test Plan:
- Verified existing funtionality in Maniphest and ApplicationSearch is unaffected, by dragging around tasks to reprioritize them and dragging around search items.
- Dragged tasks between columns on a board view.

Summary:
Ref T1344. This is //very// rough. Some UI issues:
- Empty states for the board and columns are junky.
- Column widths are crazy. I think we need to set them to fixed-width, since we may have an arbitrarily large number of columns?
- I don't think we have the header UI elements in M10 yet and that mock is pretty old, so I sort of very roughly approximated it.
- What should we do when you click a task title? Popping the whole task in a dialog is possible but needs a bunch of work to actually work. Might need to build "sheets" or something.
- Icons are slightly clipped for some reason.
- All the backend stuff is totally faked.
Generally, my plan is just to use these to implement all of T390. Specifically:
- "Kanban" projects will have "Backlog" on the left. You'll drag them toward the right as you make progress.
- "Milestone" projects will have "No Milestone" on the left, then "Milestone 9", "Milestone 8", etc.
- "Sprint" projects will have "Backlog" on the left, then "Sprint 31", "Sprint 30", etc.
So all of these things end up being pretty much exactly the same, with some minor text changes and new columns showing up on the left vs the right or whatever.

Summary:
While we mostly have reasonable effective object accessibility when you lock a user out of an application, it's primarily enforced at the controller level. Users can still, e.g., load the handles of objects they can't actually see. Instead, lock the queries to the applications so that you can, e.g., never load a revision if you don't have access to Differential.
This has several parts:
- For PolicyAware queries, provide an application class name method.
- If the query specifies a class name and the user doesn't have permission to use it, fail the entire query unconditionally.
- For handles, simplify query construction and count all the PHIDs as "restricted" so we get a UI full of "restricted" instead of "unknown" handles.
Test Plan:
- Added a unit test to verify I got all the class names right.
- Browsed around, logged in/out as a normal user with public policies on and off.
- Browsed around, logged in/out as a restricted user with public policies on and off. With restrictions, saw all traces of restricted apps removed or restricted.

Summary:
Ref T603. Several issues here:
1. Currently, `FileQuery` does not actually respect object attachment edges when doing policy checks. Everything else works fine, but this was missing an `array_keys()`.
2. Once that's fixed, we hit a bunch of recursion issues. For example, when loading a User we load the profile picture, and then that loads the User, and that loads the profile picture, etc.
3. Introduce a "Query Workspace", which holds objects we know we've loaded and know we can see but haven't finished filtering and/or attaching data to. This allows subqueries to look up objects instead of querying for them.
- We can probably generalize this a bit to make a few other queries more efficient. Pholio currently has a similar (but less general) "mock cache". However, it's keyed by ID instead of PHID so it's not easy to reuse this right now.
This is a bit complex for the problem being solved, but I think it's the cleanest approach and I believe the primitive will be useful in the future.

Part one of a large and complicated plot:
- The last filter for Maniphest "pro" queries is "Group By".
- This is currently executed in a convoluted and ridiculous way, loading massive amounts of data.
- The primary reason it works like it does is that we don't have a project name index available in Maniphest, so we can't sort in the DB.
- So, I want to provide a name index to Maniphest and push this work to the DB.
To do that, my plan is:
- Index projects in Search.
- Add a "did update index" event.
- Have Maniphest listen for it.
- When projects are updated, update their indexes in Maniphest.
- Rewrite the giant mess of "group by: project" to be somewhat reasonable.
- This may also extend to some future "group by: assignee".
This is the first small step down this path, which just indexes projects in search.

T3775 presents two problems:
# Existing tools which linked to `/differential/active/epriestley/` (that is, put a username in the URL) can't generate search links now.
# Humans can't edit the URL anymore, either.
I think (1) is an actual issue, and this fixes it. I think (2) is pretty fluff, and this doesn't really try to fix it, although it probably improves it.
The fix for (1) is:
- Provide a helper to read a parameter containing either a list of user PHIDs or a list of usernames, so `/?users[]=PHID-USER-xyz` (from a tokenizer) and `/?users=alincoln,htaft` (from an external program) are equivalent inputs.
- Rename all the form parameters to be more digestable (`authorPHIDs` -> `authors`). Almost all of them were in this form already anyway. This just gives us `?users=alincoln` instead of `userPHIDs=alincoln`.
- Inside ApplicationSearch, if a request has no query associated with it but does have query parameters, build a query from the request instead of issuing the user's default query. Basically, this means that `/differential/` runs the default query, while `/differential/?users=x` runs a custom query.

Fixes T2675, T2676.
- when the last person leaves a project it is archived.
- a script to archive all memberless projects
- better feed stories for the various policy edits you can do
- phriction pages are also moved as you rename projects
Test Plan: edited some projects and noted reasonable feed stories. ran script against test data and it worked! left a last man standing project and it archived. renamed a project to "a" then "b" then "a" (etc) and it worked including phrictiondocument moves

Summary:
Fixes T2691. Now, all PhabricatorActionListViews in the codebase setObjectHref to $request->getRequestURI. This value is passed over to PhabricatorActionItems right before they are rendered. If a PhabricatorActionItem is a workflow and there is no user OR the user is logged out, we used this objectURI to construct a log in URI.
Potentially added some undesirable behavior to aggressively setUser (and later setObjectURI) from within the List on Actions... This should be okay-ish unless there was a vision of actions having different user objects associated with them. I think this is a safe assumption.
Test Plan: played around with a mock all logged out (Ref T2652) and it worked!

We have this old view which is only used in two places and looks the same but has totally different markup. Get rid of it.
@chad, I'm generally going to move the user/project profiles a step toward looking like other object detail view with the custom field stuff. Not sure if you have any grand vision here; we can easily do something else later since this is like 80% "delete weird epriestley one-offs that don't look quite right in favor of standard elements".

This diff covers a bit of ground.
- PHUIDocumentExample has been added
- PHUIDocument has been extended with new features
- PhabricatorMenuView is now PHUIListView
- PhabricatorMenuItemView is now PHUIItemListView
Overall - I think I've gotten all the edges covered here. There is some derpi-ness that we can talk about, comments in the code. Responsive design is missing from the new features on PHUIDocument, will follow up later.
Test Plan: Tested mobile and desktop menus, old phriction layout, new document views, new lists, and object lists.

Ref T3190. #shipit
Likely future work:
- Extract project mentions from remarkup for ApplicationTransactions; this isn't relevant in any apps right now (but will be in Pholio before tooo long). Ref T3189.
- Allow projects to have alternate short names. As written, this is fine for most projects ("Differential" is `#differential`) but not so great for other projects ("Phabricator Public & Media Relations" is `#phabricator_public_media_relations`). This also breaks refs when you rename a project. Better would be letting long project names have short aliases (`#pr`) as permitted alternatives.
Since this mention uses `#` instead of a letter, I needed to do a small amount of regexp gymnastics.
Test Plan:
you only #yolo once

Summary:
This creates a common form look and feel across the site. I spent a bit of time working out a number of kinks in our various renderings. Some things:
- Font Styles are correctly applied for form elements now.
- Everything lines up!
- Selects are larger, easier to read, interact.
- Inputs have been squared.
- Consistant CSS applied glow (try it!)
- Improved Mobile Responsiveness
- CSS applied to all form elements, not just Aphront
- Many other minor tweaks.
I tried to hit as many high profile forms as possible in an effort to increase consistency. Stopped for now and will follow up after this lands. I know Evan is not a super fan of the glow, but after working with it for a week, it's way cleaner and responsive than the OS controls. Give it a try.

The Project pages won't win any design awards, but they are much more usable and responsive (mobile). I assume the default view to be workboard still at some point.

Summary: Not for full review. This makes crumbs appear consistently in mobile. It helps give a quick link to the apps home, the page title currently on, and action icons for the object. It will take additional clean-up to make this consistent across apps. Passing for early review from a UEX perspective. I actually really like it and think onces it's everywhere, helps mobile feel complete.

Summary:
This isn't quite complete, but everything else is technical cleanup. Broadly:
- Removed checkboxes. Selected state is now indicated with CSS, and toggled with shift-click. When nothing is selected, the text reads "Shift-Click Tasks to Select" to let users discover this feature.
- Updated drag-to-reorder code to work with ObjectItemListView.
- Closed/resolved is now shown with a grey footer icon.
- Assigned is now shown with a user profile image handle icon, with a hover state.
This could probably use some more tweaks, but overall I think it looks pretty reasonable?
