Ref T13258. The general idea here is "if arc land prompted you and you hit 'y', you get a warning about it on the timeline".
This is similar to the existing warning about landing revisions in the wrong state and hitting "y" to get through that. See D18808, previously.
These warnings make it easier to catch process issues at a glance, especially because the overall build status is now more complicated (and may legally include some failures on tests which are marked as unimportant).
The transaction stores which builds had problems, but I'm not doing anything to render that for now. I think you can usually figure it out from the UI already; if not, we could refine this.
Test Plan:
- Used `bin/differential attach-commit` to trigger extraction/attachment.
- Attached a commit to a revision with various build states, and various build plan "Warn When Landing" flags.
- Got sensible warnings and non-warnings based on "Warn When Landing" setting.

Summary:
See PHI1044. When you push a commit, we try to detect if the diff is the same as the last diff in Differential. This is a soft/heuristic check and only used to provide a hint in email ("CHANGED SINCE LAST DIFF").
For some changes, we can end up on this pathway with a binary changeset for a deleted file in the commit, and try to fetch the file data. This will fail since the file has been deleted. I'm not //entirely// sure why this hasn't cropped up before and didn't try to truly build an end-to-end test case, but it's a valid state that we shouldn't fatal in.
When we get here in this state, just detect a change. This is safe, even if it isn't always correct.
(This will be revisited in the future so I'm favoring fixing the broken behavior for now.)
Test Plan: This required some rigging, but I modified `bin/differential extract` to run the `isDiffChangedBeforeCommit()` code, then rigged a commit/diff to hit this case and reproduced the reported error. After the change, the comparison worked cleanly.

Depends on D19914. Ref T11351. Some of the Phoilo rabbit holes go very deep.
`PhabricatorApplicationTransactionInterface` currently requires you to implement `willRenderTimeline()`. Almost every object just implements this as `return $timeline`; only Pholio, Diffusion, and Differential specialize it. In all cases, they are specializing it mostly to render inline comments.
The actual implementations are a bit of a weird mess and the way the data is threaded through the call stack is weird and not very modern.
Try to clean this up:
- Stop requiring `willRenderTimeline()` to be implemented.
- Stop requiring `getApplicationTransactionViewObject()` to be implemented (only the three above, plus Legalpad, implement this, and Legalpad's implementation is a no-op). These two methods are inherently pretty coupled for almost any reasonable thing you might want to do with the timeline.
- Simplify the handling of "renderdata" and call it "View Data". This is additional information about the current view of the transaction timeline that is required to render it correctly. This is only used in Differential, to decide if we can link an inline comment to an anchor on the same page or should link it to another page. We could perhaps do this on the client instead, but having this data doesn't seem inherently bad to me.
- If objects want to customize timeline rendering, they now implement `PhabricatorTimelineInterface` and provide a `TimelineEngine` which gets a nice formal stack.
This leaves a lot of empty `willRenderTimeline()` implementations hanging around. I'll remove these in the next change, it's just going to be deleting a couple dozen copies of an identical empty method implementation.
Test Plan:
- Viewed audits, revisions, and mocks with inline comments.
- Used "Show Older" to page a revision back in history (this is relevant for "View Data").
- Grepped for symbols: willRenderTimeline, getApplicationTransactionViewObject, Legalpad classes.

Ref T13210. See PHI944. When parsing certain large diffs (the case in PHI944 is an 2.5-million line JSON diff), we spend ~66% of runtime and ~80% of memory doing copy detection (the little yellow bar which shows up to give you a hint that code was moved around within a diff).
This is pretty much pointless and copy hints are almost certainly never useful on large changes. Instead, just bail if the change is larger than some arbitrary "probably too big for copy hints to ever be useful" threshold (here, 65535 lines).
Test Plan:
Roughly, ran this against a 2.5 million line JSON diff:

When we show a diff-of-diffs, we often render stubs for files which didn't change between the diffs. These stubs usually aren't a big deal, but for certain types of changes (like refactors) they can create a lot of clutter.
Instead, hide these stubs and show a notice that we hid them.

- Created a revision affecting 4 files.
- Updated it with a diff that changed only 1 of the 4 files.
- Added an inline comment to a different file.
- Viewed the diff of diffs.
- Before: 4 changesets with two "nothing changed" stubs.

Ref T13137. The "analyze/cache data about changesets" step is becoming more involved. We recently added detection for generated code to support "Ignore generated changes" in Owners, and I now plan to hash the new file content so we can hide changes which have no effect.
Before adding this new hashing step, pull the "detect copied code" and "detect generated code" stuff out and move them to a separate `ChangesetEngine`. Then support doing a changeset rebuild directly with `bin/differential rebuild-changesets`.
This simplifies things a bit and makes testing easier since you don't need to keep creating new revisions to re-run copy/generated/hash logic.
Test Plan: Ran `bin/differential rebuild-changesets --revision Dxxx`, saw changesets rebuild. See also next change.

Fixes T12095. Ref T6660. The old code for this was specific to Differential, using the `DifferentialDraft` table.
Instead, make the `EditEngine` / `VersionedDraft` code create and remove a `<objectPHID, authorPHID>` edge when a particular author creates drafts.
Some applications have drafts beyond `VersionedDrafts`, notably inline comments. Before writing "yes, draft" or "no, no draft", ask the object if it has any custom draft stuff we need to know about.
This should fix all the yellow bubble bugs I created in T11114 and allow us to bring the feature to Audit fairly easily.
Test Plan: Created and deleted comments and inlines, reloading the list view after each change. Couldn't find a way to break the list view anymore.

Fixes T10968. In rare situations, we can generate a diff, then hit an error which causes this update to fail.
When it does, we tend to get stuck in a loop creating diffs, which can fill the database up with garbage. We saw this once in the Phacility cluster, and one instance hit it, too.
Instead: when we create a diff, keep track of which commit we generated it from. The next time through, reuse it if we already built it.
Test Plan:
- Used `bin/differential attach-commit <commit> <revision>` to hit this code.
- Simulated a filesystem write failure, saw the diff get reused.
- Also did a normal update, which worked properly.

Fixes T9319. Proxied requests (e.g., in the cluster) for binary files (like images) currently fail because we can not return binary data over Conduit in JSON.
Although Conduit will eventually support binary-safe encodings, a cleaner approach to this is just to return a `filePHID` instead of the raw content. This is generally faster and more flexible, and gives us more opportunities to add caching later.
After making the call, the client pulls the file data separately.
We also no longer need to return a complex data structure because we don't do blame over this call any longer.

- Viewed READMEs in Diffusion.

Ref T9319. When we discover a commit, we sometimes update the corresponding revision with a "this is the actual committed change" diff and send out a link to the changes between review and commit.
This is currently very difficult to test, because it only happens the first time and you have to either go set up a bunch of objects or add a bunch of special casing to the parser to hit the workflow.
I'm making some changes to how it pulls file content. To make those changes easier to test, first start extracting this stuff so the code can be run with `bin/differential extract ...` instead of needing to do a bunch of more complicated setup steps.
Test Plan:
- Ran `bin/differential extract ...` to extract diffs from commits.
- Forced my way through the daemon workflow by faking out a bunch of flags, got a clean extract + attach + update. After this patch, this should rarely be necessary.
