3e82ab5adb Remove product literal strings in "pht()", part 1
Summary: Ref T13658. I used the linter in D21763 to identify these and `split` them into arbitrary groups of 10 files.

Test Plan:
This test plan is non-exhaustive, because some of these strings are difficult to reach.

  - Looked at "Create Service" in Almanac.
  - Used "bin/auth" to go through a one-time auth workflow (not all related strings can be hit on a single workflow).
  - Started the "Generate Keypair" worfklow in "SSH Public Keys".

6136964093 Fix a PHP 8.1 strlen() issue with "mysql.pass" configuration
Summary:
Ref T13588. This configuration value may not be set.

Also fix an issue in `bin/storage` and whatever else I hit between now and this diff actually uploading.

Also fix a MySQLi report mode difference, beginning in PHP 8.1.

Also update a bunch of "static" property usage in Lisk.

Test Plan: Ran `bin/files ...` locally under PHP 8.1.

8fbb411a9a Respect user/pass flags to bin/storage for direct DatabaseRef-based queries
Summary:
Ref T11893. Previously, we excuted all `bin/storage` queries through `StorageManagementAPI` objects.

After D16848, we execute some queries through `PhabricatorDatabaseRef`. However, the refs we use weren't getting passed the `-u` / `-p` flags correctly, for specifying alternate administrative credentials.

Test Plan:
  - Created a second account (`trunk`).
  - Ran `bin/storage -u trunk`.
  - Made libphutil throw when not connecting as that user.
  - Before patch: some connections incorrectly used the default user, "root".
  - After patch: all connections correctly used the configured user, "trunk".

ecc598f18d Support multiple database masters and convert easy callers
Summary:
Ref T11044. This moves toward partitioned application databases:

  - You can define multiple masters.
  - Convert all the easily-convertible code to become multi-master aware.

This doesn't convert most of `bin/storage` or "Config > Database (Stuff)" yet, as both are quite involved. They still work for now, but only operate on the first master instead of all masters.

5a0b7398ca Give bin/storage some replica-aware options
Summary:
Fixes T10758.

  - Adds a "--host" flag. If you specify this, we read your cluster config. This lets you dump from a replica.
  - Adds a "--for-replica" flag to `storage dump`. This makes `mysqldump` include a `CHANGE MASTER ...` statement in the output, which is useful when setting up a replica for the first time.

  - Dumped master and replica cluster databases.
  - Dumped non-cluster databases.

6a4a9bb2d2 When cluster.databases is configured, read the master connection from it
Summary:
Ref T4571. Ref T10759. Ref T10758. This isn't complete, but gets most of the job done:

  - When `cluster.databases` is set up, most things ignore `mysql.host` now.
  - You can `bin/storage upgrade` and stuff works.
  - You can browse around in the web UI and stuff works.

There's still a lot of weird tricky stuff to navigate, and this has real no advantages over configuring a single server yet (no automatic failover, etc).

Test Plan:
  - Configured `cluster.databases` to point at my `t1.micro` hosts in EC2 (master + replica).
  - Ran `bin/storage upgrade`, got a new install setup on them properly.
  - Survived setup warnings, browsed around.
  - Switched back to local config, ran `bin/storage upgrade`, browsed around, went through setup checks.
  - Intentionally broke config (bad hosts, no masters) and things seemed to react reasonably well.

917da08417 Fix various MySQL version issues with new charset stuff
Summary:
Ref T1191. Notable stuff:

  - Adds `--disable-utf8mb4` to `bin/storage` to make it easier to test what things will (approximately) do on old MySQL. This isn't 100% perfect but should catch all the major stuff. It basically makes us pretend the server is an old server.
  - Require utf8mb4 to dump a quickstart.
  - Fix some issues with quickstart generation, notably special casing the FULLTEXT handling.
  - Add an `--unsafe` flag to `bin/storage adjust` to let it truncate data to fix schemata.
  - Fix some old patches which don't work if the default table charset is utf8mb4.

Test Plan:
  - Dumped a quickstart.
  - Loaded the quickstart with utf8mb4.
  - Loaded the quickstart with `--disable-utf8mb4` (verified that we get binary columns, etc).
  - Adjusted schema with `--disable-utf8mb4` (got a long adjustment with binary columns, some truncation stuff with weird edge case test data).
  - Adjusted schema with `--disable-utf8mb4 --unsafe` (got truncations and clean adjust).
  - Adjusted schema back without `--disable-utf8mb4` (got a long adjustment with utf8mb4 columns, some invalid data on truncated utf8).
  - Adjusted schema without `--disable-utf8mb4`, but with `--unsafe` (got truncations on the invalid data).

237b1d769b Improve bin/storage upgrade behavior when run out-of-order
Summary:
Fixes T5770. This error occurs if you run `bin/storage upgrade` before you set up MySQL credentials.

This isn't what the setup guide says to do, but it's an easy mistake to make and should be a permitted install path since there's no reason you can't do things in this order.

Specifically, we use a mixture of "standard" (configured) and "administrative" (`--user` and `--password`) credentials, and if the standard ones are bogus bad things happen. We use the standard credentials to make some initialization order stuff easier, and because there's no `--host` flag and adding one would be silly, and because we only need administrative credentials to issue ALTER / CREATE statements.

Test Plan: Ran with bad standard credentials; ran with bad administrative credentials. Ran with good credentials.

e01ceaa07f Provide 'bin/cache', for managing caches
Summary:
See <https://github.com/facebook/phabricator/issues/323>. We have a very old cache management script which doesn't purge all the modern caches (and does purge some caches which are no longer in use). Update it so it purges all the modern caches (remarkup, general, changeset), no longer purges outdated caches, and is easier to use.

Also delete a lot of "this script has moved" scripts from the last few rounds of similar cleanup, I believe all of these have been in master for at least several months, which should be enough time for users to get used to the new stuff.

32d23254c9 Use --user and --password from bin/storage in PHP migrations
Summary:
Fixes T2059. Ref T2517.

Currently, you can run `bin/storage upgrade` with `--user` and `--password` arguments. However, these clownishly apply only to `.sql` patches -- the `.php` migrations still use the default user and password.

This is dumb. Stop doing it. Respect `--user` and `--password` for PHP patches.

(I implemented "override", which is very similar to "repair", but kept them separate since I think they're semantically distinct enough to differentiate.)

Test Plan: Ran `./bin/storage upgrade --user x --pass y --apply phabricator:20130219.commitsummarymig.php`. Verified the correct user and password were used both for the initial connect and patch application.

ef85f49adc Delete license headers from files
Summary:
This commit doesn't change license of any file. It just makes the license implicit (inherited from LICENSE file in the root directory).

We are removing the headers for these reasons:

- It wastes space in editors, less code is visible in editor upon opening a file.
- It brings noise to diff of the first change of any file every year.
- It confuses Git file copy detection when creating small files.
- We don't have an explicit license header in other files (JS, CSS, images, documentation).
- Using license header in every file is not obligatory: http://www.apache.org/dev/apply-license.html#new.

This change is approved by Alma Chao (Lead Open Source and IP Counsel at Facebook).

Test Plan: Verified that the license survived only in LICENSE file and that it didn't modify externals.

087cc0808a Make SQL patch management DAG-based and provide namespace support
Summary:
This addresses three issues with the current patch management system:

  # Two people developing at the same time often pick the same SQL patch number, and then have to go rename it. The system catches this, but it's silly.
  # Second/third-party developers can't use the same system to manage auxiliary storage they may want to add.
  # There's no way to build mock databases for unit tests that need to do reads.

To resolve these things, you can now name your patches whatever you want and conflicts are just merge conflicts, which are less of a pain to fix than filename conflicts.

Dependencies are now a DAG, with implicit dependencies created on the prior patch if no dependencies are specified. Developers can add new concrete subclasses of `PhabricatorSQLPatchList` to add storage management, and define the dependency branchpoint of their patches so they apply in the correct order (although, generally, they should not depend on the mainline patches, presumably).

The commands `storage upgrade --namespace test1234` and `storage destroy --namespace test1234` will allow unit tests to build and destroy MySQL storage.

A "quickstart" mode allows an upgrade from scratch in ~1200ms. Destruction takes about 200ms. These seem like fairily reasonable costs to actually use in tests. Building from scratch patch-by-patch takes about 6000ms.

Test Plan:
  - Created new databases from scratch with and without quickstart in a separate test namespace. Pointed the webapp at the test namespaces, browsed around, everything looked good.
  - Compared quickstart and no-quickstart dump states, they're identical except for mysqldump timestamps and a few similar things.
  - Upgraded a legacy database to the new storage format.
  - Destroyed / dumped storage.

  - Ran 'repository-launch-master', verified that the discovery daemons were
able to discover new commits and insert events for them. Verified the
committask daemon was consuming events and converting them into tasks.
  - Verified new tasks looked correct in the database.
  - Browsed web interface.

4f6bac95e9 Schema upgrade script.
Summary:
Created a script the runs all the necessary patches for db schema.
Stores information in the db about the latest patch that was applied.

Test Plan:
Created two test files '024.test.sql' and '023.test.sql' in this order.
'023' creates a database and '024' creates a table in this db. First ran
'./upgrade_schema.php 23' and made sure that patches were applied in order.
Then ran './upgrade_schema.php' to make sure db was up-to-date. Checked
manually from the db that the database and table exists.
