From 32be621f52f2e1686db88baa7b01dc1ae338f426 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Lasse Collin Date: Sat, 27 Apr 2013 22:07:46 +0300 Subject: [PATCH] Build: Use -Wvla with GCC if supported. Variable-length arrays are mandatory in C99 but optional in C11. The code doesn't currently use any VLAs and it shouldn't in the future either to stay compatible with C11 without requiring any optional C11 features. --- configure.ac | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/configure.ac b/configure.ac index 550f0e9f..d80ec6fe 100644 --- a/configure.ac +++ b/configure.ac @@ -560,6 +560,7 @@ if test "$GCC" = yes ; then for NEW_FLAG in \ -Wall \ -Wextra \ + -Wvla \ -Wformat=2 \ -Winit-self \ -Wmissing-include-dirs \
