25aebab655 Make misc get*ApplicationClass[Name]() calls return ::class constant instead of string
Summary:
`::class` is available since PHP 5.5 (5.5 is a minimal requirement by Phorge): https://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop5.basic.php#language.oop5.basic.class.class
It makes finding code using IDEs easier; see discussion in D25500.

Thus replace all string return values with returning the `::class` constant instead, with one exception: 'PhabricatorSettingApplication' in `PhabricatorUserPreferencesSearchEngine.php` does not exist and makes arc lint fail so this string remained unchanged.

Also note that two occurrences were wrapped in `pht()` for reasons I do not know.

List of functions whose return value get updated in this code change:
* getApplicationClassName()
* getAdapterApplicationClass()
* getDatasourceApplicationClass()
* getEditorApplicationClass()
* getEngineApplicationClass()
* getPHIDTypeApplicationClass()
* getQueryApplicationClass()

cf. T15158

Test Plan: Too broad - click around, basically.

064424c1b7 Add getQueryApplicationClass() to *TransactionQuery.php classes
Summary:
Add `getQueryApplicationClass()` to all `*TransactionQuery.php` classes similar to other `*Query.php` classes having the same function, and make the parent function in `PhabricatorApplicationTransactionQuery.php` abstract.

In the future, this will enable excluding transaction query results based on their underlying application (for example if an application has been uninstalled) to mitigate the problem of overheated search results. See https://we.phorge.it/T15642 for context.

The only callers of `getQueryApplicationClass()` are in `src/infrastructure/query/policy/PhabricatorPolicyAwareQuery.php` and `src/applications/policy/__tests__/PhabricatorPolicyTestCase.php`.

See T15642

Test Plan:
Patch changes only one existing code place, thus check if related pages still work as expected:
* Go to http://phorge.localhost/feed/
* Go to http://phorge.localhost/feed/transactions/
* On http://phorge.localhost/feed/transactions/ , click `Edit Query` and set `Object Types` to `Application` etc.

56838c0e3d Fix an issue where querying for a large number of projects by slug could paginate incorrectly
Summary:
See PHI1809. This query may join the "slug" table, but each project may have multiple slugs, and the query does not "GROUP BY" when this join occurs.

This may lead to partial result sets and unusual paging behavior.

This could likely be caught categorically in `loadAllFromArray()`; I'll adjust this in a followup.

Test Plan:
A minimal reproduction case is something like:

  - Give project P slugs: a, b, c.
  - Give project Q slugs: d.
  - Query for slugs: a, b, c, d; with limit 2.
  - Order the query so P returns first.
  - Expect: P and Q.
  - Actual: P generates 3 raw rows and the final result is just P with no pagination cursor.

c42c5983aa Fix an issue where loading a mangled project graph could fail too abruptly
Summary:
Ref T13484. If you load a subproject S which has a mangled/invalid `parentPath`, the query currently tries to execute an empty edge query and fatals.

Instead, we want to deny-by-default in the policy layer but not fail the query. The subproject should become restricted but not fatal anything related to it.

See T13484 for a future refinement where we could identify "broken / data integrity issue" objects explicilty.

Test Plan:
  - Modified the `projectPath` of some subproject in the database to `QQQQ...`.
  - Loaded that project page.
  - Before patch: fatal after issuing bad edge query.
  - After patch: "functionally correct" policy layer failure, although an explicit "data integrity issue" failure would be better.

be2b8f4bcb Support querying projects by "Root Projects" in the UI, and "min/max depth" in the API
Summary:

Add a "Is root project?" contraint in the UI, and "minDepth" / "maxDepth" constraints to the API.

47856dc93f Track how many columns use a particular trigger
Summary:
Ref T5474. In 99% of cases, a separate "archived/active" status for triggers probably doesn't make much sense: there's not much reason to ever disable/archive a trigger explcitly, and the archival rule is really just "is this trigger used by anything?".

(The one reason I can think of to disable a trigger manually is because you want to put something in a column and skip trigger rules, but you can already do this from the task detail page anyway, and disabling the trigger globally is a bad way to accomplish this if it's in use by other columns.)

Instead of adding a separate "status", just track how many columns a trigger is used by and consider it "inactive" if it is not used by any active columns.

Test Plan: This is slightly hard to test exhaustively since you can't share a trigger across multiple columns right now, but: rebuild indexes, poked around the trigger list and trigger details, added/removed triggers.

252b6f2260 Provide basic scaffolding for workboard column triggers
Summary:
Depends on D20278. Ref T5474. This change creates some new empty objects that do nothing, and some new views for looking at those objects. There's no actual useful behavior yet.

The "Edit" controller is custom instead of being driven by "EditEngine" because I expect it to be a Herald-style "add new rules" UI, and EditEngine isn't a clean match for those today (although maybe I'll try to move it over).

The general idea here is:

  - Triggers are "real" objects with a real PHID.
  - Each trigger has a name and a collection of rules, like "Change status to: X" or "Play sound: Y".
  - Each column may be bound to a trigger.
  - Multiple columns may share the same trigger.
  - Later UI refinements will make the cases around "copy trigger" vs "reference the same trigger" vs "create a new ad-hoc trigger" more clear.
  - Triggers have their own edit policy.
  - Triggers are always world-visible, like Herald rules.

Test Plan: Poked around, created some empty trigger objects, and nothing exploded. This doesn't actually do anything useful yet since triggers can't have any rule behavior and columns can't actually be bound to triggers.

c9760e8d64 Support subtypes in Projects
Summary:
Ref T13242. See PHI1039. Maniphest subtypes generally seem to be working well. I designed them as a general capability that might be extended to other `EditEngine` objects later, and PHI1039 describes a situation where extending subtypes to projects would give us some reasonable tools.

(Some installs also already use icons/colors as a sort of lightweight version of subtypes, so I believe this is generally useful capability.)

Some of this is a little bit copy-pasted and could probably be shared, but I'd like to wait a bit longer before merging it. For example, both configs have exactly the same structure right now, but Projects should possibly have some different flags (for example: to disable creating subprojects / milestones).

This implementation is pretty basic for now: notably, subprojects/milestones don't get the nice "choose from among subtype forms" treatment that tasks do. If this ends up being part of a solution to PHI1039, I'd plan to fill that in later on.

Test Plan: Defined multiple subtypes, created subtype forms, created projects with appropriate subtypes. Filtered them by subtype. Saw subtype information on list/detail views.

a1516fefb6 Fix an issue where "Import Columns" could fail on a board for a project with milestones
Summary:
See PHI1025. When you "Import Columns", we test if you're trying to import into a board that already has columns. However, this test is too broad (it incorrectly detects "proxy" columns for milestones as columns) and not user-friendly (it returns 400 instead of a readable error).

Correct these issues, and refine some of the logic around proxy columns.

Test Plan:
  - Created a project, A.
  - Created a milestone under that project.
  - Imported another project's columns to A's workboard.
    - Before change: Unhelpful 400.
    - After change: import worked fine.

I think I omitted this capability originally only because we're not consistent about what slugs are called (they are "Slugs" internally, but "Hashtags" in the UI).

72cb3d3c84 Limit the damage that degenerate project name typeahead queries can cause
Summary:
See PHI47. When users copy/paste a wall of text into a project tokenizer, we can end up performing a very large number of JOINs.

These JOINs seem okay locally and on `secure`, but the install in PHI47 reports hitting issues.

Since these queries are almost certainly illegitimate (I think no one uses 5+ words to find a project), just limit the search to the 5 longest tokens.

Note that typing 6 tokens will still almost always work, since the UI does additional filtering. However, if you have 100+ projects named "a b c d e ..." and search for "a b c d e z", you may not hit it. This is so degenerate that it's hard to imagine any users encountering it.

This is a stopgap fix, I'll file something longer-term as a followup.

Test Plan: Used `/typeahead/class/PhabricatorProjectDatasource/` to run queries. Saw the same results with shorter query plans for all reasonable queries.

40d3bcb891 Fix a complicated object caching issue with the policy filter
Summary:
Fixes T11853. To set this up:

  - Create "Project A".
  - Join "Project A".
  - Create a subproject, "Project A Subproject 1".
    - This causes Project A to become a parent project.
    - This moves you to be a member of "Project A Subproject 1" instead of "Project A" directly.
  - Create another subproject, "Project A Subproject 2".
    - Do not join this subproject.
  - Set the second subproject's policy to "Visible To: Members of Project A".
  - Try to edit the second subproject.

Before this change, this fails:

  - When querying projects, we sometime try to skip loading the viewer's membership in ancestor projects as a small optimization.
  - Via `PhabricatorExtendedPolicyInterface`, we may then return the parent project to the policy filter for extended checks.
  - The PolicyFilter has an optimization: if we're checking an object, and we already have that object, we can just use the object we already have. This is common and useful.
  - However, in this case it causes us to reuse an incomplete object (an object without proper membership information). We fail a policy check which we should pass.

Instead, don't skip loading the viewer's membership in ancestor projects.

Test Plan:
  - Did all that stuff above.
  - Could edit the subproject.
  - Ran `arc unit --everything`.

9a1d59ad5b Separate sever-side typeahead queries into "prefix" and "content" phases
Summary:
Ref T8510. When users type "platypus" into a typeahead, they want "Platypus Playground" to be a higher-ranked match than "AAA Platypus", even though the latter is alphabetically first.

Specifically, the rule is: results which match the query as a prefix of the result text should rank above results which do not.

I believe we now always get this right on the client side. However, WMF has at least one case (described in T8510) where we do not get it right on the server side, and thus the user sees the wrong result.

The remaining issue is that if "platypus" matches more than 100 results, the result "Platypus Playground" may not appear in the result set at all, beacuse there are 100 copies of "AAA Platypus 1", "AAA Platypus 2", etc., first. So even though the client will apply the correct sort, it doesn't have the result the user wants and can't show it to them.

To fix this, split the server-side query into two phases:

  - In the first phase, the "prefix" phase, we find results that **start with** "platypus".
  - In the second phase, the "content" phase, we find results that contain "platypus" anywhere.

We skip the "prefix" phase if the user has not typed a query (for example, in the browse view).

Test Plan:
This is a lot of stuff, but the new ranking here puts projects which start with "w" at the top of the list. Lower down the list, you can see some projects which contain "w" but do not appear at the top (like "Serious Work").

90a0459821 Roughly implement milestone columns on workboards
Summary:
Ref T10010. These aren't perfect but I think (?) they aren't horribly broken.

  - When a project is a parent project, destroy (as far as the user can tell) any custom columns.
  - When a project has milestones, automatically generate columns on the project's workboard (if it has a workboard).
  - When you move tasks between milestones, add the proper milestone tag.
  - When you move tasks out of milestones back into the backlog, add the proper parent project tag.
  - (Plenty of UI / design stuff to adjust.)

Test Plan:
  - Dragged stuff between milestone columns.
  - Used a normal workboard.
  - Wasn't able to find any egregiously bad cases that did anything terrible.

10ef973735 Allow older, invalid project tags to continue to function
Summary:
Ref T10168.

Around October 12, T9551 made project hashtags stricter and prevented them from containing characters like comma (`,`).

Around December 27, D14888 changed how hashtags queries work so that the query does normalization instead of requiring the caller to normalize.

After the Dec 27 change, projects from before Oct 12 with now-invalid hashtags will no longer load when queried directly by hashtag, because the page queries for `old,[silly]hash,,tag` or whatever, it gets normalized into `old_silly_hash_tag`, and then there are no hits.

Instead, at least for now, query by both the exact raw text and the normalized hashtag. This should keep older stuff working until we can give users more support for migrating forward.

Test Plan:
  - Forced a project to have a bogus hahstag.
  - Before patch: clicking its tag 404'd.
  - After patch: clicking its tag now works.
  - Visited a project by alternate hashtag.
  - Visited a project by denormalized hashtag and alternate hashtag (e.g., capital letters instead of lowercase letters), saw it redirect/normalize properly.

9ab22e21b3 Allow installs to customize project icons
Summary:
Ref T10010. Ref T5819. General alignment of the stars:

  - There were some hacks in Conduit around stripping `fa-...` off icons when reading and writing that I wanted to get rid of.
  - We probably have room for a subtitle in the new heavy nav, and using the icon name is a good starting point (and maybe good enough on its own?)
  - The project list was real bad looking with redundant tag/names, now it is very slightly less bad looking with non-redundant types?
  - Some installs will want to call Milestones something else, and this gets us a big part of the way there.
  - This may slightly help to reinforce "tag" vs "policy" vs "group" stuff?

---

I'm letting installs have enough rope to shoot themselves in the foot (e.g., define 100 icons). It isn't the end of the world if they reuse icons, and is clearly their fault.

I think the cases where 100 icons will break down are:

  - Icon selector dialog may get very unwieldy.
  - Query UI will be pretty iffy/huge with 100 icons.

We could improve these fairly easily if an install comes up with a reasonable use case for having 100 icons.

---

The UI on the icon itself in the list views is a little iffy -- mostly, it's too saturated/bold.

I'd ideally like to try either:

  - rendering a "shade" version (i.e. lighter, less-saturated color); or
  - rendering a "shade" tag with just the icon in it.

However, there didn't seem to be a way to do the first one right now (`fa-example sh-blue` doesn't work) and the second one had weird margins/padding, so I left it like this for now. I figure we can clean it up once we build the thick nav, since that will probably also want an identical element.

(I don't want to render a full tag with the icon + name since I think that's confusing -- it looks like a project/object tag, but is not.)

389e4d1b1f Lock milestone projects to an automatic color/icon
Summary:
Ref T10010.

Currently, milestone subproject have editable icons/colors, but I don't think this is likely to be used much (the expectation is that milestones will be common and homogenous, and it doesn't make much sense to pick different icons for "Sprint 32" vs "Sprint 33", I think).

Locking the icon and color lets us simplify the form, make milestones more distinct, and potentially reuse the color later for other things (e.g., active/future/past or on time / overdue or whatever else) or just give them a special color to make them more visible.

The best argument for retaining this that I can come up with is that certain milestones may be special (e.g., Sprint 19 is a major release?), but you can just name it "Sprint 19 (v3.0!)" or something, which seems pretty good for now.

Also don't show milestones on task browse/list view.
