d4847c3eeb Convert simple query subclasses to use internal cursors
Summary:
Depends on D20291. Ref T13259. Move all the simple cases (where paging depends only on the partial object and does not depend on keys) to a simple wrapper.

This leaves a smaller set of more complex cases where we care about external data or which keys were requested that I'll convert in followups.

Test Plan: Poked at things, but a lot of stuff is still broken until everything is converted.

44c32839a6 When you "Request Review" of a draft revision, change the button text from "Submit Quietly" to "Publish Revision"
Summary:
See PHI975. Ref T13216. Ref T2543. Previously, see D19204 and PHI433.

When you're acting on a draft revision, we change the button text to "Submit Quietly" as a hint that your actions don't generate notifications yet.

However, this isn't accurate when one of your actions is "Request Review", which causes the revision to publish.

Allow actions to override the submit button text, and make the "Request Review" action change the button text to "Publish Revision".

The alternative change I considered was to remove the word "Quietly" in all cases.

I'm not //thrilled// about how complex this change is to adjust one word, but the various pieces are all fairly clean individually. I'm not sure we'll ever be able to use it for anything else, but I do suspect that the word "Quietly" was the change in D19204 with the largest effect by far (see T10000).

Test Plan:
  - Created a draft revision. Saw "Submit Quietly" text.
  - Added a "Request Review" action, saw it change to "Publish Revision".
  - Reloaded page, saw stack saved and "Publish Revision".
  - Removed action, saw "Submit Quietly".
  - Repeated on a non-draft revision, button stayed put as "Submit".
  - Submitted the various actions, saw them have the desired effects.

516aaad341 Use "pathIndex" in some owners package queries to improve query plans
Summary: Depends on D19184. Ref T11015. Now that we have a digest index column, we can improve some of the queries a bit.

Test Plan:
  - Ran queries from revision pages before and after with and without EXPLAIN.
  - Saw the same results with much better EXPLAIN plans.
  - Fragment size is now fixed at 12 bytes per fragment, so we can shove more of them in a single query.

9f8907ccf7 Make Owners behavior when multiple packages own the same path with different dominion rules more consistent
Summary:
Fixes T12789. See that task for discussion. Currently, when multiple packages own the same path but have different dominion rules we get some weird/aribtrary/inconsistent results.

Instead, implement these rules:

  - If zero or more weak and one or more strong packages claim a path, the strong packages (exactly) all own it.
  - If one or more weak packages and zero strong packages claim a path, the weak packages all own it.

The major change here is that instead of keeping the //first// weak package we run into, we keep all the weak packages with the longest claim that we run into.

This needs to be implemented twice because Owners has two different near-copies of this logic, only one of which has test coverage. Some day maybe this will get fixed.

Test Plan:
  - Added failing unit tests, made them pass.
  - Viewed all A/B strong/weak combinations in Diffusion, saw sensible ownership results.

Summary:
Ref T12272. If you own a package which owns "/", this allows you to force-accept package reviews for packages which own sub-paths, like "/src/adventure/".

```
By default, force-accepts are not selected.
3bea3fbb12 When computing revision ownership, cache some intermediate results for performance
Summary:
Ref T12319. With large datasets, the computation of which packages own paths in a revision is needlessly slow.
Improve performance through caching:
  - Cache which paths belong to each repository.
  - Cache the split fragments of each path.
  - Cache the path fragment counts.
  - Micro-optimize accessing `$this->path`.
Test Plan:
  - Used `bin/lipsum` to generate 4,000 packages with 150,000 paths.
  - Created a revision affecting 100 paths in `phabricator/` (these paths mostly overlap with `bin/lipsum` path rules, since Lipsum uses Phabricator-like rules to generate paths).
  - Before optimizations, this revision spent about 5.5 seconds computing paths.
  - After optimizations, it spends about 275ms.
7f6fa28363 When loading packages affected by a change to a particular path, ignore archived packages
Summary:
Ref T11650. Currently, we load packages and then discard the archived ones.
However, this gets "dominion" rules (where a more-general package gives up ownership if a more-specific package exists) wrong if the more-specific package is archived: we incorrectly give up ownership.
Instead, just ignore these packages completely when loading affected packages. This is slightly simpler.
(There are technically two pieces of code we have to do this for, which should be a single piece of code but which haven't yet been unified.)
Test Plan:
  - Created packages:
    - Package A, on "/" (strong dominion, autoreview).
    - Package B, on "/x/" (weak dominion, autoreview).
    - Package C, on "/x/y" (archived, autoreview).
  - Create a revision affecting "/x/y".
  - Saw correct path ownership in table of contents ("B", strongest package only).
  - Saw correct autoreview behavior (A + B).
9abc16df4d Give Owners packages the "O" monogram
Summary:
Ref T10939. This isn't ideal because it's easy to confuse with zero ("O" vs "0") but I think this will mostly be read-only so it's probably one of the least-bad uses we could make of "O". We haven't really gotten into trouble with "I" (vs "1") for initiatives. Still, open to better ideas.
The goal here is to allow commit messages to include packages in some reasonable way, like `Reviewers: O123 Package Name, epriestley, alincoln`. The parser will ignore the "Package Name" part, that's just for humans. And I don't expect humans to type this, but when the use `arc diff --edit` or similar to update an //existing// revision, the reviewer needs to be represented somehow. It also needs to appear in the commit messages that `arc land` finalizes somehow.
I didn't hook up `/O123` as a URI, but this should do everything else I think.
Test Plan:
  - Viewed package list.
  - Viewed package detail.
  - Did global search for `O12`.
  - Used `O12` and `{O12}` remarkup rules.
96fe8c0b83 Implement basic ngram search for Owners Package names
Summary:
Ref T9979. This uses ngrams (specifically, trigrams) to build a reasonably efficient index for substring matching. Specifically, for a package like "Example", with ID 123, we store rows like this:
```
< ex, 123>
<exa, 123>
<xam, 123>
<amp, 123>
<mpl, 123>
<ple, 123>
<le , 123>
```
When the user searches for `exam`, we join this table for packages with tokens `exa` and `xam`. MySQL can do this a lot more efficiently than it can process a `LIKE "%exam%"` query against a huge table.
When the user searches for a one-letter or two-letter string, we only search the beginnings of words. This is probably what they want, the only thing we can do quickly, and a reasonable/expected behavior for typeaheads.
Test Plan:
  - Ran storage upgrades and search indexer.
  - Searched for stuff with "name contains".
  - Used typehaead and got sensible results.
  - Searched for `aabbccddeeffgghhiijjkkllmmnnooppqqrrssttuuvvwwxxyyzz` and saw only 16 joins.
9790f93a83 Show all packages with a claim on a file in the table of contents view
Summary:
Ref T9218. See discussion there for rationale; I think this is the right behavior to pursue.
The screenshot below is pretty ugly. I think it's a lot worse than most real-world cases will be, since you have to sort of opt-in to having crazy levels of overlapping packages, and it's perfectly normal/reasonable for files owned by one package. Owners is powerful enough to let you specify sub-packages with exclusive ownership.
That said, this may be more typical than I hope. I don't think we can reduce the complexity here much for free, but it would might be reasonable to add some view options (e.g.: group by package?, show only packages I own?, show packages as icons with a tooltip?) if it's an issue.
f5580c7a08 Make buildWhereClause() a method of AphrontCursorPagedPolicyAwareQuery
Summary:
Ref T4100. Ref T5595.
To support a unified "Projects:" query across all applications, a future diff is going to add a set of "Edge Logic" capabilities to `PolicyAwareQuery` which write the required SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, HAVING and GROUP clauses for you.
With the addition of "Edge Logic", we'll have three systems which may need to build components of query claues: ordering/paging, customfields/applicationsearch, and edge logic.
For most clauses, queries don't currently call into the parent explicitly to get default components. I want to move more query construction logic up the class tree so it can be shared.
For most methods, this isn't a problem, but many subclasses define a `buildWhereClause()`. Make all such definitions protected and consistent.
This causes no behavioral changes.
2a5c987c71 Lock policy queries to their applications
Summary:
While we mostly have reasonable effective object accessibility when you lock a user out of an application, it's primarily enforced at the controller level. Users can still, e.g., load the handles of objects they can't actually see. Instead, lock the queries to the applications so that you can, e.g., never load a revision if you don't have access to Differential.
This has several parts:
  - For PolicyAware queries, provide an application class name method.
  - If the query specifies a class name and the user doesn't have permission to use it, fail the entire query unconditionally.
  - For handles, simplify query construction and count all the PHIDs as "restricted" so we get a UI full of "restricted" instead of "unknown" handles.
Test Plan:
  - Added a unit test to verify I got all the class names right.
  - Browsed around, logged in/out as a normal user with public policies on and off.
  - Browsed around, logged in/out as a restricted user with public policies on and off. With restrictions, saw all traces of restricted apps removed or restricted.
ef85f49adc Delete license headers from files
Summary:
This commit doesn't change license of any file. It just makes the license implicit (inherited from LICENSE file in the root directory).
We are removing the headers for these reasons:
- It wastes space in editors, less code is visible in editor upon opening a file.
- It brings noise to diff of the first change of any file every year.
- It confuses Git file copy detection when creating small files.
- We don't have an explicit license header in other files (JS, CSS, images, documentation).
- Using license header in every file is not obligatory: http://www.apache.org/dev/apply-license.html#new.
This change is approved by Alma Chao (Lead Open Source and IP Counsel at Facebook).
Test Plan: Verified that the license survived only in LICENSE file and that it didn't modify externals.
a1df1f2b70 Allow projects to be set as policies
Summary:
  - Renames `PhabricatorPolicyQuery` to `PhabricatorPolicyAwareQuery` (a query which respects policy settings).
  - Introduces `PhabricatorPolicyQuery`, which loads available policies (e.g., "member of project X").
  - Introduces `PhabricatorPolicy`, which describes a policy.
  - Allows projects to be set as policies.
  - Allows Paste policies to be edited.
  - Covers crazy cases where you make projects depend on themselves or each other because you are a dastardly villan.
Test Plan: Set paste and project policies, including crazy policies like A -> B -> A, A -> A, etc.
330b0a3d4b Make projects policy-aware
Summary: We managed to move enough Owners stuff aside to make this reasonable; make projects implement the policy interface and projectquery use cursor-based paging.
Test Plan:
  - Grepped for ProjectQuery callsites.
  - Created an audit comment.
  - Used `project.query` to query projects.
  - Loaded homepage.
  - Viewed Maniphest task list, grouped by project.
  - Viewed project list.
  - Created / edited project.
  - Browsed Owners.
8cdd801515 Add PhabricatorOwnersPackageQuery
Summary:
This is a step toward unearthing Project queries enough that I can make them policy-aware. Right now, some ProjectQuery callsites do not have reasonable access to the viewer. In particular, Owners packages need to issue Project queries because we allow projects to own packages and resolve project members inside of some package queries.
Currently, we have a very unmodern approach to querying packages, with a large number of one-off static load methods:
  PhabricatorOwnersPackage::loadAffectedPackages()
  PhabricatorOwnersPackage::loadOwningPackages()
  PhabricatorOwnersPackage::loadPackagesForPaths()
  PhabricatorOwnersOwner::loadAllForPackages()
  PhabricatorOwnersOwner::loadAffiliatedUserPHIDs()
  PhabricatorOwnersOwner::loadAffiliatedPackages()
  ConduitAPI_owners_query_Method::queryAll()
  ConduitAPI_owners_query_Method::queryByOwner()
  ConduitAPI_owners_query_Method::queryByAffiliatedUser()
  ConduitAPI_owners_query_Method::queryByPath()
We should replace `PhabricatorOwnersOwner` with an Edge and move all of these calls to a Query class. I'm going to try to do as little of this work as I can  for now since I'm much more interested in getting a functional policy implementation into other applications, but ProjectQuery needs to be policy-aware before I can do that and I need to dig some at least some of the callsites out enough that I can get a viewer in there without making the code worse than it is.
This adds a PhabricatorOwnersPackageQuery class and removes one callsite of one of those static methods.
I also intend to dissolve the two separate concepts of an "owner" (direct owner) and an "affiliated user" (indirect owner via project membership) since I think we're always fine with "affiliated users" owners.
Test Plan: Loaded home page / audit tool, which use the modified path. Ran queries manually via script. Made sure results included directly owned packages and packages owned through project membership.
6cc196a2e5 Move files in Phabricator one level up
Summary:
- `kill_init.php` said "Moving 1000 files" - I hope that this is not some limit in `FileFinder`.
- [src/infrastructure/celerity] `git mv utils.php map.php; git mv api/utils.php api.php`
- Comment `phutil_libraries` in `.arcconfig` and run `arc liberate`.
NOTE: `arc diff` timed out so I'm pushing it without review.
e77f776198 Fix commit parsing in owners tool after bug introduced in 30ae22bfcf
Summary:
A bug was introduced in
rP30ae22bfcff71fa3f14e38fd3cd597448df501c3 which caused commits to start
being parsed as if the repository callsign was empty. This caused errors
and problems and much unhappiness. Example error:
  EXCEPTION: (Exception) No such repository ''. at [.../phabricator/src/applications/diffusion/request/base/DiffusionRequest.php:130]
Test Plan: Saw that commit parsing was breaking. Applied fix. Saw that commits parsed again.
30ae22bfcf Fix many encoding and architecture problems in Diffusion request and URI handling
Summary:
Diffusion request/uri handling is currently a big, hastily ported mess. In particular, it has:
  - Tons and tons of duplicated code.
  - Bugs with handling unusual branch and file names.
  - An excessively large (and yet insufficiently expressive) API on DiffusionRequest, including a nonsensical concrete base class.
  - Other tools were doing hacky things like passing ":" branch names.
This diff attempts to fix these issues.
  - Make the base class abstract (it was concrete ONLY for "/diffusion/").
  - Move all URI generation to DiffusionRequest. Make the core static. Add unit tests.
  - Delete the 300 copies of URI generation code throughout Diffusion.
  - Move all URI parsing to DiffusionRequest. Make the core static. Add unit tests.
  - Add an appropriate static initializer for other callers.
  - Convert all code calling `newFromAphrontRequestDictionary` outside of Diffusion to the new `newFromDictionary` API.
  - Refactor static initializers to be sensibly-sized.
  - Refactor derived DiffusionRequest classes to remove duplicated code.
  - Properly encode branch names (fixes branches with "/", see <https://github.com/facebook/phabricator/issues/100>).
  - Properly encode path names (fixes issues in D1742).
  - Properly escape delimiter characters ";" and "$" in path names so files like "$100" are not interpreted as "line 100".
  - Fix a couple warnings.
  - Fix a couple lint issues.
  - Fix a bug where we would not parse filenames with spaces in them correctly in the Git browse query.
  - Fix a bug where Git change queries would fail unnecessarily.
  - Provide or improve some documentation.
This thing is pretty gigantic but also kind of hard to split up. If it's unreasonably difficult to review, let me know and I can take a stab at it though.
This supplants D1742.
Test Plan:
  - Used home, repository, branch, browse, change, history, diff (ajax), lastmodified (ajax) views of Diffusion.
  - Used Owners typeaheads and search.
  - Used diffusion.getrecentcommitsbypath method.
  - Pushed a change to an absurdly-named file on an absurdly-named branch, everything worked properly.
